rero:micro Coding Robot (without micro:bit)

Fully-Assembled Robot

rero:micro comes fully-assembled out of the box. No assembly needed. No tedious and difficult-to-follow construction steps before you can start learning coding. This robot ensures a smooth learning process in any coding class.

MakeCode Editor Programming Tool

rero:micro MakeCode Extension is officially approved by micro:bit Educational Foundation, hence providing a seamless integration with Microsoft MakeCode Editor. Programming on MakeCode is as easy as 123 - simply drag, drop and snap the building blocks together. Anyone feeling adventurous can switch into JavaScript mode for text-based programming method.

Coding With rero:micro Is Fun!

We strongly believe programming with a physical robot provides the best learning experience to budding coders.

10-Lesson Step-by-Step Guide Book

Ten informative lessons have been carefully curated to spark the students' interest in coding. Not only that, they will also learn about basic robotics and electronics principles.

What Have You Learnt Today?

Challenges are given after every lesson for learning assessment. The challenges prompt learners to explore further by creating an interactive and fun learning experience in the classroom setting.

Know Your Robot

Each feature and its associated micro:bit IO pin is labeled clearly on the robot for easy reference.

Get Creative

Program your rero:micro to draw for you. While gel pen is included in the package, you can use standard whiteboard marker to express a bolder design.

Built for Customization

If you fancy, you can customise your robot to reflect your personality. There are holes on the robot for students to build on using LEGO® parts, attach DIY items or mount 3D printed parts.

Wireless Communication

Radio feature on the micro:bit enables wireless communication between rero:micros, while Bluetooth function allows the rero:micro to send and receive signals from PCs and smart devices.

Expand the Possibilities with I2C

I2C interface port is provided for the freedom to add on any I2C sensors or modules such as distance sensor, color sensor, temperature/humidity sensor, LCD/OLED module, PWM/Analog/IO Expansion modules and etc.
